never used it
returned it because it didnt have an audio jack to plug into my macbook pro.

Excellent
Sound quality is fantastic; I made the right choice. I use this mic for interview style videography.

Excellent Product
This microphone is fantastic. The sound is crisp and clear and works with a wide range, from vocals to accoustics.
The only bad thing is that the clips are clumsy and often dislodge from the base connector. Need better clips to hold on to the mic.

The SM93 is supplied with a sew-on mounting bracket, a mounting block with attached tie bar, and an acoustic windscreen to minimize wind noise in outdoor applications. It is also supplied with a dual mounting block with attached tie bar.
Mounting the Microphone
The tie clips and mounting bracket provided with the SM93 allow the user to wear the microphone in a variety of ways. To achieve optimum pickup, attach the microphone to the user's chest. You can also obtain high-quality sound when the microphone is worn in the hair, sewn into clothing, or attached to an acoustic instrument such as a guitar.

Shure SM93 Microphone
Pure and simple, these are wonderful little microphones.
I do have a problem with the little clip that comes with them - that you clip onto the person speaking. These little clips break easily. Because of that, I recommend that you pick up the after market B&H Photo Video clip for the SM93 as it is built tough!
I have never had a problem with these microphones, and I have used them for a good number of years.

| Whether in a classroom, meeting room, church or performance hall, its wide frequency response, unidirectional pickup pattern, and high output make vocal performances sound clear and vibrant. It's also suitable for instrument pickup. Ready to plug and play (compatible with most major sound cards), it features a 15-foot XLR-1/8" (3.5mm) cable and 1/4" adapter included in the box.

nice mic
Sound better than my other Radio Shack mic which costed me the same price. This mic sounds even better (less distortion) when I use the XLR cable instead of the one that came with it (XLR on one end and 1/4in on the other end).

Not a great mic,but worth the price
Its a cheap mic and you get what you pay for. It a crappy vocal mic, but if ur using it in a studio like i was it can be somewhat useful. Works good for micing a drum and with some decent EQ, its not terrible. In terms of using it as a vocal mic, I had some problems. First its very sensitive to any type of sudden movements. If you don't hold it tightly, you will get loud booms any time u move. Overalll, you can make up for the sub par quality by using it in combination with their high quality mics.

Mic Review
Great mic for the money. This will do nicely until i have the money to buy a more profesional studio mic.
