nice mic
Sound better than my other Radio Shack mic which costed me the same price. This mic sounds even better (less distortion) when I use the XLR cable instead of the one that came with it (XLR on one end and 1/4in on the other end).

Not a great mic,but worth the price
Its a cheap mic and you get what you pay for. It a crappy vocal mic, but if ur using it in a studio like i was it can be somewhat useful. Works good for micing a drum and with some decent EQ, its not terrible. In terms of using it as a vocal mic, I had some problems. First its very sensitive to any type of sudden movements. If you don't hold it tightly, you will get loud booms any time u move. Overalll, you can make up for the sub par quality by using it in combination with their high quality mics.

Mic Review
Great mic for the money. This will do nicely until i have the money to buy a more profesional studio mic.

Scratch---Don't Sniff
The always versatile Shure SC35C, providing just what the novice DJ needs to kick some breaks and scratch for days. If you are looking for a stylus that can do it all, this is the one for you. So put that needle on the record and get to cuttin'...

Just OK.
This review is for the 55SH. Muddy sound, not a very strong signal at all. I called Shure and they told me the mic was mainly for looks. There you go. I just purchased the 55SHII Deluxe and hopefully it's much better.

LOVE IT!!
I have used the venerable SM58 for years, and always loved the sound quality. I have seen this mic, and loved the look, but hated to give up my old standard...until I used it. After trying one out, I knew I had to own one myself.
If you are looking for a vocal mic that will set you apart, and sound awesome, go for it!
I am a busy DJ, and the full, rich sound this mic delivers is worth the money. Add in the attention-getting looks of the thing, and it is a STEAL!

Nady or Shure?
I bought the Nady pcm-200 before the Shure, the Nady has more power fatter sound but it's very stand noisy. The noise makes it un-useable on a wooden floor like most stages are made of. The shure has no mic-stand noise less S-and-P problems and it's just more professional,The extra cost is worth it in the end.

Great Looker
My son was so happy to receive this microphone for Christmas. I can't tell you about the sound quality, but according to him Shure is a good brand. It was definitely one of his Christmas morning highlights. Its a great looking mic that makes quite a statement. Thanks to the supplier I received this item just in time too.

best bang for the buck
man these are the best needles u can use i have 2 and i have 2 replacements and the curent ones im using are like a year old now and still kickin out hard bass and they still handle scratching i have abused the hell out of these things and they are still kickin.

Good Stylus and Cartridge
If you've been using Stanton 500's or anything similar (-), you'll think this was perfection. But if you're an audiophile used to Grados, this'll be... well now to be honest it isn't bad but it's far from the ideal sound. I picked this one up because it's got a good sound, good anti-skip, won't burn out my records and while I'm not a fan of abusing my vinyls (scratching, etc.), this one was designed to handle it so you've got that option to if you want. In short, it's not bad at all.
Keep in mind though that this doesn't come with a headshell. Has screws, etc. but no headshell.

Best scratch needlz ever
Wow I definitely think that sure really did it with this one. The needlz don't skip even out hard I try it wont skip unless I bang the table. these are great scratch needlz. The sound that comes out of these is superb. I think these are great for the average turntablest or pro. A+++

Excellent mic at 1/2 the price
Purchased 2 of these for a gig and they performed as good as our SM58's, no problem.

Good Mic
I bought this one to replace a Shure 8900. It's a big step up from that one. I am pleased with it. The old one had a lot of handling noise. This one has a little but it is very good for the money I paid for it. My next one will be an SM58, but that will be awhile from now. I'm very happy with this PG58.

I've always had good luck with Shure
This mic is built well and it has good quality for the price. I've always had good luck with the shure mics I have bought over the years. This one is no exception. You'll do well with this mic I prefer a low impedance mic and this one delivers

shure pg58
im pretty sure its good... i just have it today oct.23 2008 i place the order last oct.18 2008... the only thing i dont like is the cable it should be xlr to xlr but when i open it its a xlr to 1/4 but its ok... i got the pg48 back in 2002 and its still working pretty good now that i have the pg58 i think the mic is better than what i got

Great product, great price. Does not come with protective case
The stylus comes in a 'case' that consists of thin plastic with cardboard backing packaging, which is then placed in a dime bag. If you buy it in at Guitar Center, it comes in a secure protective box so the delicate stylus does not get crushed.
Luckily mine came intact so i'm not complaining. Most people end up throwing the plastic case away anyway but for some this may be something to note.
Other than that, it works like it should. Am happy with my purchase.

Great product for the price
After playing with the 44-7g's i was skeptical on trying these out. They still put out a high output on Serato if you're using them on that type of application.

Pro-DJ Review
If you don't know Shure's reputation, you probably are not from this planet... This is the best scratch cartridge ever made !! Perfect sound quality, insane for scratches, loud bass response, long last standing and so on. Do not waste your time and money... GET IT RIGHT NOW !!

Battle Ready
These are the purfect needles for the world's most perfect turntable, the Technique 1200's but they are not limited to use only on 1200's. These needles can be installed in less than a minute and the needle can handle whatever you throw at it, so you can cut your records down to the bone! The bass sound really comes through well on these babies and they track your records really well which comes in handy for records which seem worn down.

Best Vocal Mic
No pop in the vocals, this Shure SM58 is the world standard for vocals, I've used these mics for over 30 years, singing around the world and no other mic comes close for quality of sound and build, don't waste your money on more expensive brands, get a Shure SM58 for your next vocal gig.

Fantastic!
I bought this for my brother for Christmas, he's the lead singer in his band. What a difference a mic makes! Especially this one. I spent a good amount of time researching microphones looking for the best sound for the money and this Shure was...hehe

Shure SM58 SLC Mic
This is a great Mic. I absolutely love it! It is a little heavier than some mics - but it is of excellent quality and voice clarity. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is also a very "rugged" mic and can take abuse!
